I can see the classified ad now:
EVO 7. FSH, superb handling, exceptionally fast, one owner....... bodywork needs slight attention! :-)
Glad the driver was ok though.
I'm afraid that just goes to show, it doesn't matter how skilled you are, if you drive like that sooner or later you're going to get it wrong and it's going to mean a BIG bill!

Don't get it wrong... this crash was caused by a wheel failure.
This Evo was fitted with narrow tyres to allow large drifting.
The wheels used to be stock wheels machined and welded at this time (to fit narrow hard tyres) but the one on the left front corner gave up under stress as you may have noticed...
As far as I know, they use one piece rims from now
