just got a new video editing program so managed to get some footage of me at an Andy Walsh day hooning round the mini circuit at North Weald. Quality isnt great but have a look see what you guys reckon

Hi scoobymad, cheers for the reply.

The vid was from one of the Andy Walsh carlimits driver training days on the airfield at North Weald. It isn't a proper track he just sets out a mini circuit where your meant to demonstrate all the skills you've just learnt (badly in my case!) I was trying to concentrate so hard on heel and toe and understeer correction my lap times were terrible!!

59 secs is a good time. I only got just over a minute when i had my Elise and last time i went i couldn't get below 1:02 in the Scoob and i was slower than the Elises that were with me that day.

Was having trouble with Turbo lag and point to point speed in the Scoob on the short distances between the cones as it just doesn't pick up like the Elise.

Its a great day tho, i am booking again for January can't wait

The circuit used is suited to the light weight cars, and I found I was no quicker than what I was last time I was there in my std Elise. Car now has 35 more bhp, best times were 56.9, great for finding the limits of the driver and car, whilst gooning.

It may be different in a Scoob, but when you are driving towards the camera, you should be closer to the cone on the outside, I aim for it, it gives you a better angle to get round the cone.
