Had a look at an 05 in Crystal Grey a couple of days ago. Looked very nice (gold wheels don't suit though). Put on the 18" Prodrive PFFs in titanium and it will look great.

Nor does the blue interior.

I face the same sort of decision myself next year.

I've gone for crystal grey (with the gold wheels )
Thinking about changing the interior though.

Have a look at these. I bought a crystal grey one last month and it looks perfect, especially with the gold wheels which in my opinion look great, being less severe than with blue or black. A nice set of black Prodrive mudflaps complete the look.

I see Neil's found my pics of the crystal grey metallic car:

Personally I was hoping that the colour would be darker like the RB5, it was just a bit too similar to the silver that's been available for a while. So, instead I went for black:

Andy (slightly off topic) - how are you finding the new Brigdestone tyres? I couldn't believe it when I saw them in the showroom - they look like cut slicks!

Nice car BTW - always liked Scoobs in black (not that I'm biased ), but I did fancy going for something different next time and seeing that the world and his dog has WR Blue, I thought maybe grey or silver.

The crystal grey looks good but as someone said in the topic the colour is to similiar to the silver metallic. If they had done a titanium finnish it would have been great :-)

I bought a black one. The only thing I can say about Subarus paintjob is that itīs not as good as a European car. Some Subaru drivers in Sweden got their cars repainted because of their complaints to Subaru Sweden.

Chris: Suffice to say I won't be replacing them with the same tyre when they're worn out.

Pros: exceptionally sharp turn-in, seems to have plenty of grip in the dry.

Cons: car becomes very fidgety in the wet. Sidewalls are very stiff which makes for a poor ride over bumpy surfaces. Tramlining is awful. Lots of road noise.

No surprises really, it's a no-compromise tyre designed to give the best possible handling on a smooth, dry road - but although it would be ideal for track use I'd rather have a more conventional tyre for the road.

I canīt find anything to complain about the handling of the car. I have run the car in snow, rain and on dry tarmac and I am still suprised about the grip. Because of the 65/35 ratio You can slide thru corners by controlling the back of the car with the throttle. Real good :-) Now I have 225/45-17 dubbed winter tires fitted and was worried that the car should float on top of the snow, but the car just grip, grip and grip all the time :-)

The only minus i can find is the road noise in the car. Much louder than the 04 Sti.
