Thanks guys - i'm really pleased with how they came out, and i think i am gonna do the rears ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The paint i used was good old "hammerite" smooth metal paint - just used a wire brush and some surface cleaner beforehand and then put on 4 coats.
A friend did his ones a few weeks ago (the black bmw in the background), and so far the paint hasn't melted off, so we'll have to see![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Very nice.
I have a question though. What model of Impreza is that? Just curious about the rear 2-pot calipers, as I've only ever seen them gold (as per STi) and on STi's and I'm trying to work out if your car is an STi (or derivative thereof) or WRX, simply as I thought, probably wrongly, that fitting 2-pot rear's to a non 2-pot rear car was a bit of a chore.
Probably just me being a bit silly, as I know that putting 2-pot rears on a Classic impreza is not just a simple "bolt on the new calipers" affair.
Must say it does look nice. I used to have big red calipers poking out from beneath the wheels of my WRX Wagon

I've always used the Hammerite smooth when I have done my calipers in the past. It holds well. Needs the odd chip touching up every twelve months, but that takes a few minutes.

2 Pot rears are also now a bolt on addition for classics due to Iain (Dyney) getting brackets machined to suit

Here's mine, done in £1.99 plasti-kote enamel from Wilkos, Homebase do it too, but more expensive. They've been done over a year now, and are still as good as the day i did them.
