How about ERL water injection are you allowed to use that, Was thinking of getting that for my car ever since we've had this warm weather, my car has felt slow, and like the sound of water injection.

yes i can use water injection ,but it can cause a few problems believe it or not.
i have heard that after using water injection(which is good as it stops pinking,,,and helps stop lean conditions which is bad)it can leak![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
now,,,this can happen,,,and after talking to a few rally teams it causes them problems moreso overnight i believe.
where when the engine is turned off,,the water left in the pipes causes a capilary action, leaking past the injectors,,filling the inlet headers,,filling the heads,,etc of water !!!
its happened to them,,and i have been warned of the problem, but i cant see why a simple non return valve can't sort this out????
come down and see me and i will tell you more about it before you spend your cash !

mine has been like this
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/Darbo_wrx/ftns.jpg)
for about a year lol
gonna crack on with it soon
just need to sort ecu
build my dogbox-kit bought
build my engine-pistons and rods bought
re design the front intercooler and enginebay fuel lines
then were sorted
im getting ready to rally again its been 2 long
but these things seem to take forever if you get sidetracked

nice car,,is it an ra ?
i agree about the sidetracked bit,,i always end up doing other things than the car.
i ordered the brake bias pedal box today with x2 master cylinders and remote filling pots,,,nice piece of kit,, along with a cable adjuster to help stop the darn thing.![Norty](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/norty.gif)
the white speedline 17"alloys should be here on wednesday,,it should look real nice with those on tarmac events.

have a contact with about 20 mag speedline 8-17 alloys but they are group A rims
i converted 8 for my car but rear arches still need flaring to clear the offset
i made my own bias box just need some big 4 pots to fit under my 15" forest rims
guy with the speedlines also had about 30 mag 6-15's if you need any pm me
got my forest tyres last week for practiseing on first forest event will be girzedale
my skylines now done so its full speed ahead on the rallycar in the next few weeks

btw
the car is a 1995 sti-ra
came from japan as a track car
cusco diffs
rose jointed suspension
os giken twin plate clutch
ive added
custom cages weld in cage welded by me so its done properly
-(i fit cages for ppl just done a evo 6)
5 speed dog box not a modena a better one![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
3 way proflex
evo6 front intercooler
bias brakes
engines having je hi comp pistons -(my spec) and forged rods undecided wether to cam and port it
im kinda doing everything myself as a m8 of mine took advise from a "profesional" and is now having to redo most of his car again
mapping also seems to be very dodgy if you go to the wrong guy but i have 2 ppl who have proven results so its gonna be one or the other
if theres any thing you are looking out for pm me and ill try to help

Both of these look great and are local to me too. I'm gonna have to sneak a peak.
I'm building a WRC style scooby based on a Type RA shell too but it's more for show purpose than to compete with, i'm too worried at damaging something that has cost me so much to put together, Hats off to you guys tho.
I may need to pick your brains on a couple of things if you dont mind.
Chris.

by all means come down and have a chat and i will try and help you out.
its quite easy to do a replica car as you dont need to do all the welding and strenghtening to the body or move the fuel lines/brake lines/wiring.
let me know when you are comming down though as somtimes i am not down the unit.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Roy, i'm back with the motivation again to sort my car and it's getting there slowly.
I have a couple of questions for you tho if you dont mind.....
Where did you get your Dash covered as i'm also after the Alcantara covering for the rally car look.
Also did i see an external fuel pump set up by your tank ? it's someting i think that i have got to get done, is it easy enough ?
Thanks
Chris.
