Hi Phil,

Looks good.

So whats first dump valve, remap, doors, exhaust?

About time you had something that doesn't have steel wheels.

Does it feel more powerfull than the remapped for-two?

Cheers
Lee

80bhp its a rockt to the 50bhp the other ones got!
Lambo doors going on first! and colour coding.

I like the sound of the DV as it is
remap will take it to 106bhp... that will come laters.

That would probably be until you test drove one. I've had two smart cars in the past, and would definatly say I would NEVER have another one. There was nothing but leaks on our cab, that went back so many times it wasn't funny, and don't get me started on the gearbox! If they fitted a PROPER manual gearbox I think the car might be a viable option. So instead of getting a roadster this year for the missus, we went for the jap option of a Daihatsu Copen.

I find this so much better than any smart I've ever been in (including the roadster), and with a proper hard top folding roof (just like an slk) it gives proper protection from the elements. It sounds great when driven hard (8k red line) and sticks to the road like glue. Sure makes a change from driving the scoob! But in fairness I think it is a bit of a marmite car (love it or hate it), but it does get loads of looks and I've only seen another 2 on the road in 6 months. I'll post some pictures of ours if anyone's interested as it has a few extras on board....
