Default My new motor

Ok so its "only" a wrx but i am chuffed to bits with it. I reluctantly parted with my 330ci recently and didn't think i would be able to replace it but it has definately added a smile to my face.

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...z/6e913ab1.jpg

Its obviously standard at the moment so i wont bore you with more pictures

Question is what to mod first......i have already started a list!

One last funny thought - the dealer was pretty good but as i was driving home i noticed in the rear footwell the dealers price board and then later on i found a bit of sausage between the passenger seat and the storage compartment WTF is that all about? Couldn't help but laugh - dont think i want to know how it got there.

UPDATED!!

New pics of my baby. We have done an unexpected 10,000 miles in the last 4 months or so...the wallet has taken a hit because of it . plus now i need 4 new tyres.

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...fritz/Rear.jpg

Sti corners and scoobyclinic spoiler and exhaust, plus some other bits inside.
So what do you think.....good or bad.

Shweeet

I knew i'd convert you & Laura to the wise ways of the scooby

Mmmm firstly that spoiler has to go & be replaced by a nice big one & then some nice 18's...of course i'll be at hand to help you spend your money

Just watch your post count increase whilst your bank balance decreases LOL No more stealth Scoobynet watching for you...just steer clear of the muppet forum otherwise you'll never get out

pmsl

It was like an out of body experience, i could see myself buying one but was helpless in trying to stop it!!

I was just calculating what is left in my budget for immediate "enhancements" defo spoiler and some 18's although the guy at the dealership said that pff7's can make the brakes look a bit tiny? could do with seeing some pics first.

yea i wouldnt get pff7's they really do dwarf the brakes unless you get the 330 prodrive brakes !

go for the p1wrc oz wheels 17's in anthracite they look ace especially with the prodrive springs to lower it a tad. mathch with black prodrive flaps if your a real show off!

sti corners for the front?

IMO, 17" wheels are just too small on the bigger New-Age cars...

- 18" Rota GRA's in Steel Grey or Silver... Group Buy: Here
- Very Light Smoked Windows
- Black Kaylan Flaps with Small Prodrive Logo
- De-Tango (Front & Sides)
- Carbon Front Splitter
- UK300 Style Rear Spoiler

- Tein Springs
- Whiteline 22mm Adjustable ARB
- Solid Droplinks
- Mintex 1155 Pads & DOT 5.1 & Braided Lines
- STi Strut Brace
- Godspeed 335mm Front Brake Upgrade

- Either PPP if Warranty a Problem... or:
- Full De-Cat Exhaust, inc Up-Pipe
- STi Panel Filter
- Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
- 'Tek 3 Custom ECU Re-Map
- **This is an endless list....... it all depends on power wanted and how well your credit card will resist melting once the bug has bitten!!

Have fun mate... and remember to keep us constantly updated!!

Cheers,
Grant

Blimey that is a good price for alloys

Problem is that you wouldn't have that exclusivity of something different if everyone is buying them. The wheels on my scooby i've not seen on one other car...& i've seen a few . They were only on the market for a couple of months

Saying that, if you like them...buy them No point in exclusivity if you don't like the wheels

Nice car fritz,
Here's my PFF-7's with standard brakes, they do look small, will hopefully be changing them at some point.

The brakes don't lkook that small

And besides who's gonna be looking at your brakes anyway when you've got a nice set of wheels like that on the car?
