Lol @ Cliff's "half past two" comment - nice one!
Thanks for the pics guys, but i'm a little worried about the effect the sun has had on the car in the last two-and-three-quarter years. I have heard tails throughout my car years of the sun "bleaching" red very quickly, and i'm worried that if i had the badges removed i'd still be able to make out where they were due to the paint underneath being slightly darker.
Any comments? Especially from you Craig, as we both have the same age & same colour of cars!
Thanks again for the pics by the way - much appreciated.

A slight T-cut and buff would surely get rid of any marks!?
I know Subaru Paint isnt the best.... but surely 3yr old paint wont have suffered too badly, specially as its been kept well with regular washing/waxing.
Cheers,
Grant

Looks 100 times better without the badges.

Got my boot de-badged tonight. I got a bodyshop to do it (£20) since i'm hopeless at that kind of thing - i'd have ended up scratching the paint.
Looks good, although it was dark when I seen it finished, maybe take some pics 2moro if the snow doesn't come our way
Cheers again for the pics & advice folks
