Well after six years of Classic ownership with ever increasing bonkers level of tune (it has now recorded a 10.4s 1/4 and over 190mph with its new owner) I now have moved to the modern Subaru era. And what a fabulous car, the best chassis I have ever driven. Indeed I sold a 911 to buy this...
a MY06 Spec C from Iain at Litchfields - still running it in and I can't wait to drive it properly - such a great car.

I have now had it 36 hours and done 139 miles in it - it would have been more but I have severe jet lag and a bunch of stuff to catch up on having been away on the West Coast of the US for a couple of weeks.
I will clean it - eventually - but it gets that dirty just driving off the drive.

Fantastic!
I would say that, as my 06 STi looks exactly the same...except it's not a Spec-C.
How do you find the sound of the Milltek exhaust?
I'm looking to swap the Uk spec STi exhaust off mine, but dont want to go down the Nur Spec R route again.
EDIT: When i look at the new nose, I keep thinking of a SAAB.

Thanks for the great comments!!
I love the car more with each minute I drive it - the chassis is all the things I modified a Classic to be - except it is much better.
The Miltek is good - actually fairly quiet inside, 3in straight through and MOTable with a big Cat in it.
The front lip spoiler - complete with rubber lower lip - is an STi item fitted to the car by the originating dealer in Japan. Left it black which actually works quite well.
It really helps butch up the excellent front end.
All credit to Iain at Litchfield who made the whole process easy and delivering the car to my front door. It was about eleven weeks from order to delivery all the way from the land of the Rising Sun.
Finally the Saabaru actually has a different nose in the US and it may be coming here!!
Oh, and finally, finally tuners will have more options at the front as there is a touch more space in front of the engine - front mounted turbo, reversed inlet, oil rads, you name it - it can all go in there.

It has been recalibrated so it does mph....or :m/h as it shows ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
It means that I can tune it up to 260mph now and it won't go off the clock - Veyron territory.
It was the same with the Classics however they only had a 180kmh speedo.
I will post some pics of it after its next wash as well - it looks fabulous in its original Crystal Grey as opposed to Sugar Beet Brown.
