Default a year of expense.... before + after shots

been away from scooby ownership for nearly two years this Feb.
but this last year has seen me adding to the Smart family by buying a second smart.

june this year saw a almost basic standard Roadster come up from London to my place in Nottm.
before pic

within a few weeks saw a transformation with
colour coded front and rear 'grey' bits. £200
huge 17"s inc tyres £1000
100bhp remap £399
Lambo doors £1600!!!!! EEEEEEKKKKKKK

after

I know not having a Scoob should save me money and the HP i've not had to pay over these almost two years has kept my a bit more bouyant... but no matter what car you have you can hit the credit cards!! lol

Who else has changed the look of there car in 2005???

Merry Christmas SN too

Phil

Been there too I bought a Legacy turbo back in March to keep standard

Several thousand pounds later and it looks like this.

Most of the differences are under the skin though TD05, remap, 4 pots, wrx suspension, wrx interior, wrx wheels, induction, decat exhaust etc I've been busy this year!

I since blew a piston and its in the process of a rebuild. Should be back on the road this weekend, but i`ve also added a bigger turbo, lightened flywheel, STi clutch, STi8 intercooler, and other bits too

Beginning of 2005 saw me in another Subaru that I got from a friend in Edinburgh (Johnny50 on here). This is how it looked back then:

After a few quid, a bit of hard work and effort it ended up looking like this:

Sold it in August/September and even though my Celica is awesome, I still kind of regret selling the Wagon.

Cheers,
Grant

P.S - More pics here.

You must be mad paying £1600 for Lambo doors

I'm in the "if it doesnt make it quicker, dont bother" camp , so heres my changes.

From this:

To this:

And finally this:

Just fired it up the other night, now need to tidy everything up and run the bugger

From about 120bhp from the knackered old engine to 200bhp now, cost about £3.5k in total

Hi Phil, cars looking nice ), the only thing weve changed on our Impreza over the past 12 months is the amout of dirt on it (realy needs a clean) a new back bumper and the panel thats behind the bumper from when a Taxi hit Michelle, a big scratch on the front bumper from where she hit the gate post and a cracked front chin spoiler from me running up a grass back on the Rally GB , so our mods havnt realy helped the looks of the car this year
