The lamp was not a pressie for the cat nor for the parents.

The round coloured thing that is in 'Tigers' paws was his pressie.

It depends, is the toy battery operated . If it is battery powered, beware young man as your god is watching and knows everything you do, not only to yourself but also to others including the cat .
