Default My Octavia vRS

A couple of pictures of "Darth" - my Star Performance remapped Octavia vRS - he has 216 bhp and 225 lbf. Taken when he was clean - a rarity!

Looks great, anything else planned for it??

How do you find the car behaves after the re-map... thats a huge increase in lf/ft over standard!!

Cheers,
Grant

Next step - sports cat, exhaust and a more aggressive remap. There is a huge difference in performance over standard - maximum torque comes in at 2000 rpm and stays at that level until 5800 rpm. The torque curve looks like Table Mountain!

Performance wise, from a rolling start, it could *probably* keep up with a standard WRX

Thats some claim to make on here..... I mean, some people dont even believe that a 172 Cup can keep pace with a Standard New-Age, never mind..... a Skoda?!

Sounds like it's got a few more bhp to go then!! I'll have to keep my eyes open if I'm ever around Stirling.

Cheers,
Grant

Quality car mate. Looks good in Black. Would love to se them do a 4wd vrs though. I've never driven a bad car based on that shared VAG platform.

216, not 261! It's still easy to get wheelspin at 40 in 2nd gear on a greasy road

Some Skoda dealers were selling the old model Octavia RS a few months ago for £12,000 in preparation for the new model, surely the performance bargain of all time!

It's OK, but thats not the best road for fast driving in daytime - too much traffic and too many blind bends. Night time is different
