Default Pics Request. Number plate relocated becasuse of FMIC on Version 5/6 STI

Looking to put an FMIC on my version 5 type R.

Still in two minds on where to put the number plate so i can increase air flow and efficiency.

How small can you go with the plate? Will i get away with a Bike plate on the origional plate mounting or shall I cut the whol lot out and mount it to the side?

Oh the pain! LOL!

Any pics or advice would be great!

Btw, thinking about going for the Hybrid FMIC

I had an STI6 front splitter on my old MY99 UK car, so it gave room to have a stick on number plate:

Think i may go this way.

I am going to replace the drivers side fog light cover with an air intake for my inner wing induction kit so i do not really want to cover the passenger side fog light cover because ill lose the STI badging.

Thanks very much for all your pics guys

I think the evo style stuck to the side looks the smartest and draws attention to your fmic, but hey what do i know.

Thumbs down

Best to avoid Wiltshire as the boys in blue pulled me for a front plate, 9mm smaller in height (whatever the width was as a ratio), in std font. £30 fine. Them explaining that its not about the speedcam number plate reading etc, but so that they can track terrorists with their plate recognition software.

imho... grrrrr... easy money, timewasting, you name it.... grrrrr

Richie.
