my first ever scooby - wagon - what you think?
hi guys
am new to scoobynet
and also this is the first time i have ever owned a scooby
i was intending to buy a audio a4 or a lexus is200 but when i saw this i fell in love with it straight away
i am loving it more everyday
love when people hear you coming from a mile away
funny thing is i dont think many people know the power of this car
have had a few races and have left em behind and feeling embarrased
so guys tell me what you think of it
thanks

Couple of late Classics round my way with Cream Leather interior.... One is a DGM Saloon and the other is a DBM Wagon like that. Looks REALLY good and is pretty rare too!!
Anything planned for it Jamil?? Is it modified already (apart from the wheels)??
Cheers,
Grant

Some very light smoke tints would look good... but go too dark and it'll look tacky!!
If you are happy with the performance then I'd leave it the way it is, but if you start to get tired then you can get a full de-cat exhaust system (ranging from subtley loud to ridiculously loud), panel filter and a re-map of the ECU to make things run a bit safer. That little lot should see you around 270bhp and if the car is standard at the moment, it'll be like a completely different machine!!
Styling wise, IMO, less is more so stick to colour coding the black skirts, add a colour coded Version 6 STI front splitter with some clear front and side indicators with some STI Rear Lights.

I would estimate the following costs on average to do it properly:
Full De-Cat Stainless Exhaust: £400
Panel Filter: £50
Walboro Fuel Pump: £100
EcuTek Re-Map: £650
Other parts needed: £100
Total: £1300
The other parts section is for anything that might be tired and recommended to change before you modify the car and increase the power.
There are ways to cut down the expense there, you can buy 2nd hand parts from users on here.. and I think that there are Group Buys on some parts including Re-Maps running on the Forum which will also save you money. You will have to be close to a local tuning place taking part in the offer for the Re-map otherwise you'll spend a lot of money just getting to and from the place.
Join your local section and ask some advice about places to take your car for modifications and servicing...
