What a beast ....... I under spec'd it early saying the lecky sunroof didn't work. but it does I was just too thick to work it out.
Only bad point is it came with a CD player so im on the look out for an original Rover radio to return it to its authentic classic status

I've calculated if it last 30 days it will have payed for its insurance, mot for a full year and the cost of buying it against the cost of the scoob for one month only.......
Sti = approx £800 per month in monthly payment + insurance + depreciation
420 = approx £200 ins + £350 purchase + £160 tax
Hell I'll even throw in a bit of depreciation on the Rover if you like .... Shall we ammortise it over 6 months? £58 per month
Cheap throw away motoring for a year and then I get a caterham / westy

Wow, it's amazing how a few body panels can really change the shape of an STi!!!!!
Look on the bright side, didn't they originally say that these engines would last 100k with only oil and plug changes? That should save you a bit!!!
Still at least you have the Caterham/Westy to look forward to.

Re: Caterham/Westy
mmmh...VERY NICE!!! I Applaud your focus and determination on this one...I would have had a caterham/Westy but my wife wouldn't have it one little bit...
Which one are you fancying ? 0-100 in 8 seconds ? 0-60 in 3.7 ?
share - spill - tell all!!

Already got a bonnet bulge to shoe horn the 2ltr power plant in there. Just hard to see it in the picture.
