Stunning car mate..

Great choice of modifications & the best Rims for a silver scooby by far imo.

Looks great! One thing i would do is paint the rear calipers orange to match.

Only fitted the brembo front calipers a couple of days ago, i'm thinking of putting SUBARU 2 POT rear's on next, off a newage WRX, then painting them GOLD and RED to match the brembo's, but that can wait for a bit.

Car looks amazing mate, get a STi 6 front splitter on it to finish it off.

Same colour as mines, simillar mods, FMIC etc but I fancy bigger brakes.

How hard was it to fit the Brembos mate and what parts did you need?

Cheers

They are straight bolt on, no extra parts needed, really eay to fit takes the same amount of time as to change the disks and pads, just have to bleed the brakes after. Just need Calipers, disks and pads off a impreza STI (2001-2005) or Forrester STI.

Looks awesome and its good to see results of your spec... because that is pretty much exactly the performance mods route that I'm considering, should I return to the fold.

Can you not fit some Rear Brembos to it, or is that more hassle than its worth??

Cheers,
Grant

To fit rear brembo's you need to change the rear hubs for newage STI as the handbrake is bigger, but to do this on a uk car means you also have to change the rear driveshafts and rear diff, so a bit to much work and expense.

Do it Grant Returnnnnnnn

The rear Brembo's are very expensive to fit from what some of the boys have found.. you have to get some sort of bracket to convert the fixings and they are not cheap.

Was a little disappointed with the rolling road result, was expecting about 330+ bhp. But having spoke to Andy F, apparantly cars (especially classic's or cars with boost controllers) do tend to boost differnetly on rolling roads to on a normal road. Mine did, i normally get around 1.33-1.35 bar peak and hold, but it only peaked at 1.28 bar on the rollers, not sure if it held that all they way up, wish i'd sat in the car to mointor what the boost controller was doing now.

Thats the other option, custom brackets to mount the calipers and custom made disk's the right size for brembo's with 170mm handbrake to suit a uk classic.
