SMACS Run to Wales
Today we went on one of our SMACS trips to Wales
370 miles, 2 tanks of Optimax!
Started from near Stockport and drove to TYWYN on the Welsh coast visiting various lakes/resevoirs along the way
Our first stop was Lake Vyrnwy
Dinner stop at Abergynolwyn on the road to Tywyn
Then to Tywyn sea front
Then on to another resevoir Llyn Elan
SteelX WR1 with Carl555DBM telling him he need to go that way!!
And my JDM STi
Not sure where the last 2 are but I have been told it is where Evo mag do there testing (not the evo triangle!)
Left home at 7.45 got back at 19.15
A good day had by all
More pics to follow onece the reg's have been Photo shopped

Whatever you do, do not ask the price before you buy them

Well, what a great day - but boy do I ache today.
Did the same run in to Wales as we did last year, but instead of heading for Bala we turned off and head for Lake Vyrnwy.
A quick lap of the lake (highly recommended) and a stop for the first photo opportunity of the day, once I got them to line up properly.
Then off to Dolgellau for a Shell stop and then to the Cafe for a fry-up at Abergynolwyn (another highly recommended road past the lake).
Then off to the Tywny (not Towyn, as that would be very silly indeed) for a kiss-me-quick hat (but no chips, sorry Mad) and then off again to Machynlleth and off toward Devils Bridge and Llyn Elan (I think it is called).
Although only 4inches high, Carl does manage to move his classic along at some pace.
Do you know how long it took me to get them to line their cars up like this - FOREVER!
"I am right behind you in Towyn - wait for me!"

The driving rain and blanket fog kept the cars clean and looking better than they really are - you should see mine today .
