G-DAY MATE

sorry i didnt get back to you sooner - i have been away down to silverstone
circuit rally school for some sideways action :-)

you wanted to know the spec - here goes

1997 jap spec sti version 3 2.0 turbo
large cone k&n air induction filter
4" sports exhaust - no centre cat - ( what a beautiful noise )
sti intercooler water spray
racing developments alloy air splitter
sti carbon fibre front upper strut brace
cusco alloy front lower `h' brace
cusco alloy rear strut brace
sti standard shocks with uprated springs
tein type HA fully adjustable coilovers (track day use)
subaru kevlar sump guard
EBC turbogrooved & dimpled sports discs - front and rear
EBC redstuff ceramic pads - front and rear
alloy brake servo brace
subaru 4 pot front calipers
subaru 2 pot rear calipers
full bolt in roll cage with rear diagonal
fuel & brake lines run inside car
alloy bonnet pins
air conditioning unit removed
cibie oscar plus spotlights

i think its running somewhere around 300 BHP - though i have never had it rolling road tested - and i dont know if anything else has been done engine/turbo wise - tried to time myself 0-60 and got 5 seconds on three runs
but dont know how accurate this is. Top speed i have been in the car was showing almost 145 mph on the clock but again - dont know how accurate this is - but it still felt like it had some grunt left ( scary )

all i know is that it certainly goes well - and we have loads of fun road rallying in it

lol @ G'Day Mate!!

Sounds like it'll handle pretty well with the Tein's on it.. and 300bhp is more than enough to do the job I'm sure!!

Cheers,
Grant
