Scorchio!! - I like the front splitter and rear spoiler, big improvement over the standard WRX - and good choice fitting the AST's too!

I think I recognise the dealership , must be strong and stayaway until next year...

Looking very good

Is it a JDM or Euro import, the front seats are different to my UK model?

Tony.

Not just AST's - Full T25 setup! .... so much better already than my 03 WRX with Prodrive Springs!!

Yep... the piccy gives the dealership away a little if you have ever been there!

Euro (uk Spec), but asked for these seats... very supportive, but no side airbags (very tight on the hips and shoulders, and I only weigh 11 1/2 stone).

Nice looking MY06... I would go for black as well, much more menacing than WR Blue is, IMO.

Cheers,
Grant

Had WR blue last time. Within a month I wished it was Black or Silver. Hopefully got it right this time. I think I will become very familiar with the local jetwash though!

In black, the best colour. I so need that front lip for mine!!! Trouble is, the roads over here are unforgiving and the gutters are terrible for ripping even teh standard front bar apart let alone a lower one.

Just need to get some nice rims on it and you'll be set. Awesome looking beastie. Mine is here - http://littlemisswrx.fotopic.net/c872641.html

Seen yours on Staff Scoobies already (also a member). Yours helped me decide on the colour. The splitter is in 2 parts: the plastic splitter down from the bumper, and then a rubber skirt hanging down from this that offers some sort of protection (keeps grinding on speed bumps!).
The next year should see 18" Prodrive Pff7's (or possibly 19" Superlegerras), some nice road legal slicks (Toyo R888 or something similar), a suitable brake upgrade to fill the new wheels (prob the Tarox 12pot upgrade), and finally some extra power.

Cool.

What kind of brake upgrade are you thinking? Whole lot calipers and all or a pad/disc upgrade?

Not usually a fan of those type of spoilers, but it looks good on yours

Why did you go for a WRX if you're looking for more power etc?

The whole kit.

I'm not normally either. It was a big decision to go for it. Just about get away with it because it is a Black car.

A very good question, and one which I asked myself a few times before comitting. Basically, regardless of which I started with I would still have gone for the same styling/handling/wheel/brake/power upgrade. This way I have got all of those on my car whilst still keeping the overall cost very low (Including the planned brake/power/wheel upgrade it will have cost me no more than £24,000). Plus, it is more stealthy than an Sti.... hopefully I will surprise a few people!

I know I will be missing out on the clever centre diff and have a slightly weaker engine/gearbox... but if they break it will be a good excuse for an upgrade!!
