Default The WRX After some TLC

This is the other halfs car, it was in a bit of a sorry state when she bought the engine was good and so was the price

I've repainted the rear bumper, vents, spats and skirts, fitted a new style grille and repainted that, carried out a full service, replaced the cam belt, temp sensors, replaced the horrendous jap exhaust with a standard item, refitted a standard air box, fitted clear indicators and cleaned up the engine bay

I also found a set of face lift STi wheels for a few quid and set about refurbishing them, just waiting for the tyres.

I Hope you agree after a bit of TLC its looking great.. Another mostly un-molested Classic

Its cost about around £200 to get to this and now we just need to repaint the front bumper/spats and fit the new wheels, oh and sort out a blowing exhaust gasket.

Looking good

I think the wheels will set it off though, the ones on it now are nasty

Cheers!

I agree they are pig awful, note we didnt even waste time cleaning them, At the moment their only purpose is to prevent the bottom of the car getting scratched. Came with nice new rubbery bits though so hopefully they will be worth something to someone..

I'll probably remove the tyres (Sell them seperately) then sand blast the wheels and paint them silver, then whack them on eBay.

Looking good there mate. However i would lose the double barrel pee shooter and fit a nice 4 or 5 inch tailpipe/backbox to finish it off.

Lol! I have to say your not the first person to refer to it as a double barrel pea shooter!

At some point I am going to fabricate a straight through up-pipe, when I do that I'll see if she wants a different back box too.

Where did you get the grill from? I'm looking for one like that for mine.

Cheers.

Looks good It'll look much better with those wheels on instead of those nasty 15"s. Here's an idea of what it will look similar too

It was only a diddy bike. I'm not sure what it was but it was a 125 at most. I didn't notice the reflection 'til I got home and downloaded the photos
