Default My U.S. model classic Impreza

I just joined this forum so figured I'd share some pics of my car with you all. Pics are a little outdated, I got Prodrive Supertourismo's (Speedline Chronos) now and its been lowered. I'll post newer pics later...

Cheers. It actually has a red flake to it which can be seen when the sun is shining on it. It's really hard to catch on camera though.

James, I'm living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Considered a Western state I think, The rocky mountains run through it. I plan to be back in England end of this year though, I think I've had enough of America for now

What a coincidence, what are you gonna be doing here anyway? Salt lake doesn't get many tourists aside from skiers and visiting mormons.

Thx! I noticed there doesn't seem to be many black newer classic Impreza's in England? Same as here really, they are usually blue, white, or silver.

Sadly i won't have my scoob with me, i'd love to get it up in the mountains!!
I'll be flying into Denver, and then driving up to Mount Rushmore, then kind of across country to Yellowstone, and then south to Salt Lake, on to Zion, and then Bryce, back towards Denver, but via Colorado Springs, cos we tried to drive up Pikes Peak last year, but they closed the road cos of the snow.... so we only got about halfway up.... this year we will get to the top!!

So, seeing as you're in Salt Lake, is there anything you would recomend doing?? we're gonna visit the Mormon temple anyway... but someone who kind of knows the area sometimes knows of things that we as internet tourists won't have found..... we enjoy scenery, and small town type places, off the beaten track, last year we got stuck halfway upo a deserted Dirt road that was snowed in.... !!

Your ideas on things to do and places to see would be greatly appreciated!!

Ron.

Ron,

I sent you a PM regarding stuff to do in SLC. Didn't wanna waste board space =)

Back on topic, what are the specs of your scooby?

Yeah they didn't bother to update our rear bumpers to the >99 ones. We got the same rear bumper 1992-2000. I think Subaru didn't wanna invest the money into the crash testing of the new rear bumper as this Impreza wasn't a huge seller anyways.

Huu,

Don't ever ask me about the spec of my car, it's always seen as an excuse to post pictures!!

My00, 2ltr turbo, upgraded to roughly 300bhp/lbft.... bigger brakes, different wheel and pretty much most things....!

Make me grin!!

Ta for the pm..

Very nice car. First time I seen one with that little lip spoiler you have on the boot.
