Heres something to bare in mind when choosing wheel colours:
White is right when body colour of vehicle is not too bright.
This was said to me by a custom car specialist back in the late 80s and funny enough i think it applies to todays styling too.

You can wax them with a wheel specific wax such as poorboys wheel sealant but you have to keep on top of them constantly.
They would be stunning if we lived in california where it never rained or we never had to use our brakes and create brake dust............ but we live in the UK and use our brakes lol.
The brake dust obiously has metallic particles in it and these no matter what you do eat into the wheels. When the have contact with any form of moisture they obviously start to rust and form tiny orange spots on your lovely white wheels. These are really dificult to remove and will eventually stain the wheels.
Trust me guys, unless theyre your summer dry use only rims and you have another set then theyre bigtime maintenence.

Thanks for the comments - forgot i'd posted the pic!
The wheels are replica Rota Tarmac II wheels, part of a SNet group-buy a couple of months ago (Midland Wheels i think).
I only test-fitted these two, took some pics, then put my normal wheels back on (18" KEI Racing Force 10's) - these white wheels WILL be my summer-use-only set.
