No the first owner of the car year 2000 did this and i cant complain i like it much better like this or with STi taillights i hate the ugly orange thingy.

Absolutely love it, looks ace. Only thing that spoils it IMHO is the blacked out rear lights, dont think they work on a light coloured car.
