Thanks mate!

Nic's over the moon with it, she loves it to pieces.. And hopefully some point in the near future I'll have a JDM bug eye to play with..

Still needs a new clutch and while the box it out I need to sort out where the gearbox cross member bolts to as some numpty has buggered up the thread in the chassis.

I quite fancied a Forester at first, drove one.. And what a big pile W@NK..

In my eyes the classic is a better car but I dont want an old car because I'm a snob!

I don't mean it like that, you'll get me in trouble!

The problem is if I have to visit clients I have to set an exmaple, showing up in a lairy Classic WRX would just make me look like a prat

Dont take it out of context lol! I love the classic and I agree its a better car than the later ones.. But turning up to a clients office in one for a meeting doesnt set a good example

Much in the same way as I love Series 1 RS Turbos but I wouldnt drive one to see a client.

Looks like you have a nice genuine example of a classic wrx.

[Davey] its not the car that a client looks as it is usually the person behind the wheel.

exactly, all my clients just love it when i turn up
Couple of them can hear me come into the car park..so know I am on the way
yeah some might think its a bit lary, but what the heck, nothing like a conversation starter than

" so nice ford mondeo, is that the 02 model with black extra cup holders?/ "

oh...and good looking model there (the car )
did you have a before shot to see the difference

We're not big fans of aftermarket tat so tried to keep it original looking and just tidy it up. And Nic likes the pink STi bits being a girl and naturally attracted to pink??

That has come on along way since you first posted pictures Those wheels still look great on classics and the facelifted front end looks great. No wonder she's happy with it

I agree the wheels look 100 times better than the boggo WRX items which look terrible!

I wasnt so sure about painting them gold though, but thats what Nic wanted and its growing on me I must say.
