Looks pretty good. Give us an idea of environment you did it in and tools you used then. Will be good to see some finished shots once painted including some macro close ups on the quality and distance shots in good light to see how noticeable the respray is.
Looks good so far though. Belies your ability level in your posts
i know the icing isnt on the cake yet but i think it will look ok. i have got the paint matched as well as i can, if i dont post anymore pics up you know i fooked it
i was going to a company called Moreilli to get the paint mixed, the matching is done exactly the same as whats on the car but it takes 2 weeks......anyone else heard of these, they are in Enfield?

i did it in my windy drive using a piece of cardboard to stop bits blowing back onto it i have a pop up gazebo that i will use for the paint. i used filler primer first but it was orange so i got some high build primer.i used P38 but had a mare with it as it was setting as soon as it hit the car, got the mix right in the end. i an now using 400 sandpaper to rub it down.
i am not looking forward to the paint. i will be adding lacker(sp) 30 minutes after i have sprayed with paint

They have a place in High Wycombe and they matched the paint up on my old 2.8 capri perfectly You couldn't tell that it had been painted
I've never seen orange primer though Are you sure that you didn't pick up your spray tan?
the primer was a halfrauds one, its a filler primer but it was too dark for my car. i was able to get the overspray off with white spirit but with the high build primer it wouldnt come off. i didnt realise that it had gone behind the paper until it was too late
i have a salon airbrush spay tan system haktually, i can spray abs and muscles into the tan, i could spray you if you want
looks like a good job only thing is it looks like youve cought your wheel with all that primer, have to black it now
white is the new black
i had even considered repairing my wheels myself but i gave that up when i cut myself on the jagged metal from where i kerbed a wheel
