Smile ROTA GRA's in gunmetal request....

I'm thinking of getting some of said rims and was wanting some pic's first to see how dark they actually are! Preferably on a black new age but anything will do!

Cheers

I used to sell ROTAs.

Anthracite is what you'd expect gunmetal to be ordinarily.

My old RA with Boosts.

Sorry about the sideskirts. I'd only had the car a day!

HTH

Cheers

Hello Maz, how's things? Miss her very much actually and never got her over to the 'ring as I'd promised myself. Looking at Boxsters at the moment and test drove one the other day. Lovely motor, sublime handling but, as you'd expect, soooo much slower then the RA. Power to weight wise it'd need about 400bhp to be as quick.

(sorry for the hijack too )

The ROTA Gunmetal does seem dark.

Here's my Steel Grey GRA's...

...which are pretty close in colour to my old Gunmetal newage 17" wheels.

Steel Grey, that was the colour, not anthracite . Nice wagon BTW.

I don't know whether to go gunmetal or steel grey! Been loking on the rare rims website and just don't know what to do!!!

Gunmetal is slightly infront though i think!

Black 03 Blobeye, i really want to go for the stealth look. Got some smoked repeaters and taken off all the pink decals. Just need to decide how dark to go with the alloys. I didn't fancy total black wheels so the Rota gunmetal colour seemed perfect! Just wanted to see how dark they were in real life and not on a website

Steel Grey ok it's not a new age but it's the wheel

Wondered how long it would be before you popped in Si Have you tried the Blackfire wheel tyre dressing? It's unbelieveable and makes the tyres look dripping wet. Lasts ages too

So you guy's have obviously seen both. Are the gunmetal's much darker?

Gav just had a moment of inspiration

southwalesscoobys

Watch the video for the South Wales Motor Show
You will see.... Bronze on a Red Mica, Gold on a Blue wrx, Gunmetal on a Blue wrx, Gold on a white classic, Steel Grey on a Type R and mine

I think it's safe to say we like em
