Some trackday videos
Thought I'd post up some videos from a couple of recent trackdays...
First two are from the Trackmasters ( stormy & terryb ) day at Castle Coombe.
Stormy offers some gentle encouragement...
Reverse angle , looking back past the rear wheel...
Second two from the Spa / Nurburgring trip at the end of August .
MLR / SIDC trackday at Spa....
Some of the German WRC Stages...

It is on the other hand a very wide angle lens which gives a similar impression so pretty hetrosexual really

So you're doing 1.15s - 1.17s around Coombe without using the whole track. That's up there with Caterham R500s, Vtec'd Elise's and allsorts of other high power to weight ratio'd kit. What's the spec of your Impreza?

FWIW, my PB in my old 1240kg 320 bhp track prepped RA was a lowly 1 min 22 secs. Dave Costa, one of the Senior Instructors at Coombe, managed a 1.19 in my car after half a dozen laps (). He used half the infield and quite literally had my pads smoking.

Are those roads on teh WRC stages one way? or were you relying on the guy at the front of the convoy clearing the way?

It's alright mate I'm secure in my sexuallity
Must admit I don't trust the video for timing once it's of the tape , so I do check.....
Car spec is , didn't notice the question first time round as rushed off the check the video , is :
Group N exhust
Almost equal headers
Remap etc
Eibachs and kybs , rear anti roll bar , geometry .
AP 6 pots
But I did book an instructor all to my self for the day last time I was at Castle Coombe.... best mod ever...

Not to bad in the first vid at CC although some very strange lines. Way early braking in most corners.very wide mid corner.
To put a quick lap time in at combe you need to ride the curbs.
your times was not that bad.

Others have mentioned my ability to brake far to early.....confidence I suppose , I'm working my way up to it
As for the lines , I must admit that the car is not always in the right place on the track......

Dont worry about it too much when the lap times drop the car will always be on the move.
just wait untill your going over avons rise at 150mph now that gets the scoob moving around.I was watching on that day,as mine was not ready.

Avon rise - 150 mph I'm braking from 110 at the cone and still getting it wrong . Did get it better later in the day after a session with the instructor - drive it through the corner , get the car balanced , brake , now turn in......
You can hear the trailing throttle on the vid
