Petter on the M4
Although they arnt brilliant pic's, i thought i'd share them with the scoobynetters
It was great driving behind petter, probably will never do it again
I was sick when i saw the last picture as a van pulled in front of me as my girlfriend was taking it and i braked missing petter and phil giving the thumbs up with wicked grins(wonder if its because they appriciated the type R ), but never mind, hope you enjoy

Must have sounded well. We never got to hear them start up at Prodrive on Monday.
I guess Petter must have a fleet of cars in his own name, as the one fresh back from Rally GB had the plate CTO6 SRT not JT06 SRT?
God, I'm a geek.

Great pics mate. Its strange seeing the rally cars on the motorways. I remember seeing Mathew Wilsons car 2 years ago caked in mud looking a bit worse for wear driving along the M4.

To paulthejambo, apparently other plates petter drove with this season are HT55 SRT, FT55 SRT and others, must be nice to have that many cars at your disposal

Hmmm. Which one should I take today?
It must be awesome knowing that if something happens to your car there are others available or that a group of the finest mechanics in the world will descend on your car when you limp it home to the pits.
None of that for me at Oulton Park yesterday!

The prodrive tour is a great opportunity to see how the company works and to see some fantastic motors - we were even lucky enough to meet chris atkinson - he,d just brought his car back from germany

Rally cars on the road always look really good.
Was lucky enough to see Macrae and Burns performing through the traffic in Catalunya a couple of years back (about 4 I think) they were passing long lines of traffic until some eejit spanish loon turn left straight across them with no indication. It certainly proved that rally car brakes and handling even on a wet road make road cars look rubbish. There is no way most road cars would have avoid the collision but burns blipped the throttle and sailed through the gap while Macrae braked hard and dove round the back. Both with little drama. Very impressive.
Wouldn't want to drive far though, there not the most hospitable distance point to point machines on the road!!
