Default Photoshop legends

Ladies and Gents

I thought it would be nice to have a post dedicated to your photoshop efforts car or no car related. I'm quite new to photoshop still so it would be excellent to get some inspiration and maybe a few words about how effects you've achieved are carried off.

Anyone brave enough to kick us off??

Just a few.
Had PS for three years now, still learning new things to do with it. Don't be afraid to try anything with it, just experiment, you can always delete it if you don't like it or mess something up. Happy PS'ing.

I haven't actually photoshoped the car in any way at all, I've just fiddled with the background etc. I think I should've washed the car first lol

When starting out I used tutorials from loads of different sites depending on what I wanted to achieve (google search engine - space scene photoshop tutorial etc.)

A good site to view some "real" talent and I do mean extraordinary stuff: www.worth1000.com/

However these tutorials can be quite advanced as they presume you have an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of the program.

Tutorial outpost: Photoshop Tutorials | Tutorial Outpost has some really handy tutorials for all levels.

Some excellent Video tutorials can be found here:

Free Photoshop Video Tutorials | Learn Photoshop CS2 The Easy Way
Total Training for Photoshop - 20% DISCOUNT - Free Video Tutorials | PhotoshopSupport.com

Don't believe in spending money on books, I'm totally self taught from internet tutorials. My work really imporved when I started to learn how to Mask images. Both layer masks and the quick mask tool really seperate good work from excellent work.

A little tip...find a piece of work you like done in photoshop and try and recreate the same effect yourself...keep practising and Good Luck.

There's an american chap Bert Monroy does a video podcast every week over at Revision 3 - it's called Pixel Perfect and the guy is pretty hot with Photoshop. He's always asking for people to email in with suggestions for the show too so maybe he'll do some car stuff if people ask.
Anyway, take a look at Revision3

Lol nice info, im actually a corporate designer i use Photoshop a lot but have never really done many car chops apart from two. The 22B wagon was my first attempt and it didnt really take long to do but i was really curious when i seen the quality of your chop.
