Default My first subaru - wrx type RA

Hello there joined up a few weeks ago as was meant to sell my corsa and buy a wrx. Anyway, after much messing about with the sale of my car the corsa finally went last sunday, so had a mahoooosive trip to wickford, essex and back to pick up my new car on saturday!

V.V. Impressed so far! Got some pics that the seller had from his advert, so please excuse the poor photography

Its a 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA - loving it so far, loadsa fun to drive, comfortable etc etc loving it!

Already has:
3" full decat exhaust
Panel filter
Turbo timer
4Pot Brake upgrade (type RAs come with 2pots lol)
KY springs
Front and rear strut braces
16" Gold speedlines
Crystal headlights, sidelights, indicators and side repeaters
version 6 front bumper with sti fog light covers
Year 2000 spec seats and door cards
A low spec pioneer mp3 cd player (will survive with that for a lil while)
And some awful Black Lexarse lights (will be swapped asap after xmas/new year!)

Pics:

Immediate plans:
New rear lights asap
New Wheels for Summer
then its a case of watch this space

what ya think?

Does the hood and grill work with the newer headlights (MY99/00)?

Looks good Andy, but I can't help thinking that the newer bumper looks a bit out of place with the rest of the pre-facelift front end, just my opinion though

you are wrong, they're different

nice looking RA there bud, good idea to get rid of the lights

consider a 99-00 front grill and colour coding your mirrors and door handles

here's mine from a couple of years ago (UK) , looks a bit different now though

picture for the purpose of colour coded handles and mirrors
