ST2's were made by Speedline for Prodrive (same as the PD7's on my car), Speedline also made a rim called the corse 2013 which look very similar

cool, will look good...love the machining on the inside of the rims

i must confess i don't know what Vredestein Ultra's are though

i'm thinking of maybe some bronze rims; either TE37's or CR's Kai's or XD9's or maybe some ultralite copies...choices, choices

Yup, but the Speedline ST2 had a different center, and required different wheel nuts, the Prodrive ones had an insert meaning you could use standard Subaru nuts, these are the Prodrive ones

The Ultrac are suposed to be the best tyres around at the minute. Frayz is running a set.

Have you thought is Gram Lights 57S?

sorry am really confused now, as far as I am aware there is no difference between the wheel studs and nuts, the wheels just have to have the correct offset...the ST2 name referes to the style of the wheel rather than any different fittings...

The ST2 was available from Subaru badged as the Prodrive ST2, or from Speedline as the Speedline ST2. The Speedline needed nuts with a different taper on them to secure them properly, but the Prodrive ones didn't, they had an insert to use the standard wheel nuts.

Mmm, never heard of anything like that before; so basically you are saying the non-Prodrive (which has the same off set and stud number but a larger recess for the nut), version requires a shim\washer of some sort to secure the wheel to the stud securely?

got any pics or info as my curiosity is now getting the better of me

I think we all could learn a lot if we browsed old threads on here. So well done Andi for doing so and for doing his homework well
