Would this be a car, to your knowledge, that would be sold as a road going car, or just for people who would use it in rally i.e. illegal for road use?

It is a nearly standard STi7 (Jap spec)

Only mods IIRC were decatted and brake servo disconnected

And yes, before you ask, it was a blast to drive

Oh.. Come on... Jonathon

Give these Americans a break

They "cream their knickers" over the very letters STI

Let alone when coupled with the letter 7

And one day they think that they'll be able to afford one

*evil Squire laugh mode on*

Cool

Rear wing looks like the standard Scoob WRC spoiler to me....

Wolfey...

To be a REAL rally car, means the car has to be road-legal, thus meeting all emissions/noise tests and everything else.

The cars have to be driven on public roads between each stage of a rally.

That's why we love 'em so much over here!

Exclamation

Tom - I believe that is infact a rear wing supplied by Sainsburys which is standard fit to their trolleys

That is a real shame, that wing would surely be a big seller. Althogh from seeing the WRC cars up close they do look a little more flimsey than the other wings available.
