DJ Dunk, Looks very similar to my MY97 UK Turbo.
I now have 16" 6-spoke Gold Speedlines on the car now, I put a new post on here sometime this week.
Have you had any luck with getting a hold of a Turbo Bonnet or High Level Spoiler then??
P.s. Is that a Turbo badge on your bootlid?

No luck withe the new bits yet Ricky. Gonna buy a new spoiler after Xmas. Looks good on yours

Badge is just a Original Sport one, looks similar to the Turbo 2000 one til you get close up

Hello AVI,
It's an R-reg 98 2.0 Sport. Paid £7k for it a few months ago from a Main dealer near Gatwick.
Went for a Sport cos its cheaper insurance, came with a years full Subaru warranty with breakdown cover. Best to go for >98 as the interior is quite a lot different.
Still puts a smile on my face, even without the turbo

I think I've got approx £6k at a push so don't think i'll be able to afford 98, possibly a 97.. is there much difference in the Interior??
Having said that, i've seen facelifted sports from 5.5k and up.

Just for academic interest - the major non-cosmetic change came in
MY99 when the power and torque were increased (~115 to ~124 bhp, can't remember toque off the top of my head).

From my experience when buying my new toy, I noticed quite a few interior cosmetoc changes such as the seats were much improved (no tweed 
) and a nicer dashboard & immobiliser
The windscreen was also changed on the late 97 - 98 model

Bought my Sport bout 5 years ago, Bought a turbo then sold it when i got me mortgage. Still got the Sport now. When it runs well, it runs well...
