FMIC Pics on Classics?
Hi folks, can you post up some nice front on pics of FMIC please as i`m having mine done in 3 weeks and would like to see some fitted, thanks Pete...
Also folks, what`s the best for the pipework, steel, or Samco silicone??

No it dosent, I had the fins very lightly dusted so as not to affect the cooling efficiency of the i/c.
cost around £38 and that included all the pipework.
I also have added two washer jets (like the headlamp washers) into the underside of the bumper and teed them into the sti washer bottle. that way I can give the i/c a blast of water using the headlamp washer button .

All thanks for the job has to go too Special Scoobys of Colchester.After a little mishap with the rear of a Saab i had to get the whole front end replaced and Andy did a top job.Highly recommend him for any work to your Scoob(just mention that Tim sent ya)

Not the best of angles but...
I/C water spray - a length of 10mm copper pipe running along the top of the intercooler with 1.5mm holes at intervals. 1Litre water reservoir in the boot, and a 5litre cylinder of compressed air, duty cycle via a pulse timer = water shoots, air blasts it out and mists it, repeat. I/C Spray Switch from an Sti Type R in the dash (momentary) and also a latching toggle switch beside it.
