DRB5's new ride........
I'm the new owner of Asmckay's number 987.
The weekend should hopefully mean i can give a real good clean and get the 'ol Swissol onto it. If i can get the time to fit them, i have a full set of Willwoods to go onto it too.
Whats your thoughts on the wheels? Yeh or Nae? I'm undecided.
Couple of pics from just above the Faslane Naval base...

Lol! Jase, the idea was to buy a special edition, so i'd keep it good and not mess about with it...........but yer, i'm planning a couple of mods. Larger top mount, turbo and injectors. Thats it.
Mark, cheers for that. Some ways i like em, others i really dont. Still got a while to get the tread down, then i'll decided.

I think it looks great as it is.
Blue seems to be the only colour that suits gold wheels well.
What make are the wheel? as I guess most people will not like them because they are not OZ's or some sort of badge snobbery.
Either way I don't think that colour blue suits the OZ anthracite wheels.
Agree 100% about the STI8 scoop looking worse as it looks very silly and out of place on classics.

Cheers Leuven. Totally agree about the anthracite, but it would be good in a way to have the original wheels on the car....then again they were offered in gold too. These wheels are some BK Racing ones. Couldn't tell you what ones, but i like the shade of gold on the blue.

Dave - this is going to freak you out but the guy up here who has the MO's for sale...........................................is the son of the ORIGINAL OWNERS OF THAT CAR!!!!!!!!!
Kate and Colin Black ran 13000 miles on in in the first 3 years of its life and had it serviced by Fiskens of Forfar.
Eddie Connaghan owned it next ( I serviced his car a few times and fitted - and then removed - his Alcons) and did mostly town mileage....never ragged it once!
After ASMackay owned it, I ain't sure about it from there.
If you need any info on the history of the car or anything else, let me know.
Russell
ps - MO pictures were taken today, should have them to you soon!

Lol, i must be the only person who like the wheels on the car then!
Oh well.
P1's have to be my equal fave model scoob, alongside V5 or V6 Type R's.
I think it looks nice as it is.
