Smile Sunny day, clean car, out on the back roads!

Havent taken many pic's of the Scooby lately, day off work and the sun is shining! The perfect day for a drive on the minor back roads - or a 'burn' to use the street racin' lingo for all you fast and furious wannabes!

Made a few additions a short while back. Made the boot more 2006 stylie with the oval boot badge and rear diffuser underneath, you may not see it very well, but its on there!

I love Bugeye's.

Cheers for looking, comments welcome!

Looks lovely mate. Had a 2002 last of the line STI V7 Wagon in silver. Loved that car and wish i had never flogged it, TSL 333, RS GT'S in 19" (first set in the country on a new age).

I was only looking at that the other day (viewing your Scoob ) Nice car mate.
Where did you get the rear badge from? Is it stick on or did you have to drill the boot? Also, I thought the WR Sport back box was round? Yours looks oval?

The badge (from Subaru) is a hole / glue combo, basically the rear of the badge has two short bits sticking out - made of plastic. These slide into two holes that would be on an '06 boot lid. The rest of the badge backing is one big piece of that sticky badge glue stuff, so I slowly but surely trimmed the two arm bits off with a scalpel leaving only the glue and then spent an age finding the centre of the boot lid and placing it at the right height. Didnt have to drill any holes at all!

As for the back box, yes its a WR Sport (from Subaru, well, second hand) and it is oval. The WR Sport back box is the same back box as the Prodrive one, just with a different (round) tail pipe. Similarly, the WRX twin tailpipe B/B is the same as the STi one, only the tailpipes are different.

Nope, its a replica one from HT Autos. I couldnt find the Scott Lowe bugeye splitter anywhere, and they stopped making them too! Grrrrr.

ooo I've never heard of the HT Auto piece, I'll have to check that out. You're not missing much, the Lowe splitter is fiberglass, which takes a beating on most roads.

Either way, its still the best looking splitter for the bugeye, IMO. Well done!

Thanks for the reply mate. I prefer the look of the badge rather than the 'SUBARU' on the boot. Mine's semi-naked at the moment but if I ever get bored i'll give that a go.
