HID Lights - Competition
Open to GB participants.
We are looking for some pics to use on our forthcoming website
Pics should include:
Before - In-car shots
After - In car shots
Before - Outside shots
After - Outside shots
Please state colour (ie 4300k, 6k, 8k). No install pics needed.
Prize: £15 voucher and coverage of your car on our website.
Also we would appreciate normal pics of your car with HIDs on, if the pics don't fulfil the competition requirements and we will try and include them on the website

oooops
Ok got some pics of the hid conversion kits I fitted on the Low and High beams, also the quad led 501's side lights
Low beam H1 bulbs conversion
High beam HB3 bulb conversions
all power packs hidden behind fog lamp covers, total time to fit, 2 hours, as in all.
sorry BOB, didnt see this thread till after I fitted them, . 6000k kit on both beams

They look really blue for 6000K maybe its just the photo angle..

They do look very blue, cameras do funny things when they have lights blasting at them
Certainly not that blue to the human eye

They look blue because of the glare off the car, they are pure white, best bit of kit I have bought for the car, cheers Bob, how about a group buy for a 60mm defi boost gauge and conrol unit....

Look at the full beam now, what a showing up!!
Other side, both have Leds in sides too.

Cant find the pics of the before, but to give you an idea, the main headlights were the same as the sidelights in brightness

no mate, its a complete change
You keep your actual headlights, but you change the bulbs, need to connect to the battery and have to install ballasts, hence the instals you see where people take off the bumper

hello mate, havent seen you on here for a while.
yes I have had them on for a year, nearly to the day. Installed them about the 29th dec 2006. Been pretty good so far, though one of the bulbs did keep on falling out and I have lost high beam in the right hand one. But apart from all that,been great.
The grey air ducts were just done on whim. I had the black or dbm ones for ages but decided to redo them myself and chose silver for a change.
