Default Pic of UK Turbo 2000 Vreg Gear **** pls

Surely a contender for most exciting thread evar.

If anyone's got a photo of their ****, please let me know so I can compare it against mine. I've no idea if mine is standard or not.

I have a UK Turbo 2000 Vreg(2000) Wagon. Many thanks in advance.

And in case anyone recognises it... Here's mine. Anyone know if it's OEM/standard kit?

Nice one

So hopefully someone can show me what it should look like. I'm thinking of ordering one from subaru (or sourcing 2nd hand), but need to balance my "keeping it all original" fetish with "actually looking good and feeling right".

Thanks Simon, but looking at the Scooby FAQ, it says that in 2000 there was a new gear ****, so I'm thinking your 1999 one wouldn't be the right one? Anyone able to help confirm or advise? Thanks.

Not sure whether the 99 one is different but I have swapped my 00 one for a Momo, I can have a look to see whether I have kept the original if you like?

I probably have, just a case of finding it!

I took this info from the Haynes 'You and Your Subaru Impreza' book. It lists 'a new gear ****' as one of the interior changes for the MY2000 car.

Perhaps it's wrong, or my car has, for whatever reasons, an earlier one.

Anyone else clarify?

It's satisfying a secret desire of mine , but seriously I don't think a new age (man) **** is directly comparable.

My old MY00 W reg uk 2000 had same **** as SCD Simon's and had all other interior enhancements as described in FAQ, such as adjustable intermittent wipers, metallic fascia.......... . 'Interestingly' though, it had the 5- spoke MY99 wheels (which I preferred), so I think there can be some slightly different bits on cars prepared close to MY changeovers?

As OP said, definitely the most interesting thread...........

I run a videogames website which in itself is quite geeky. But it specialises in the rather niche area of importing games from japan and the US which makes the forums there uber geek. However, it has to be said this thread tops it. I wasn't expecting the sheer number of replies in a thread about gear *****. In fact I thought I would be the only bugger that would care. So many thanks to everyone that replied, although I'm still not sure we know the right answer.... or even if there is a right answer.

SCD Simon, I've PMd you. Please let me know.

davey21wagon, if you need any help getting a photo hosted, let me know. I'm sure we're* all dying to see it. (*me)
