sti 4 or sti 6 rear wing.
I'm finally getting my silver sti 3 colour-coded next week.
While its in, i'm having a v5 front bumper, grill and p1 splitter fitted.
I also bought a large v5/6 rear wing, but i'm un-decided whether to fit it. Would a P1 front end be too much without a large rear spoiler? Or shall I just be different and keep my current mid-level spoiler?

just thought i'd say the v5 and v6 are differant ,the 6 flips up at the back the 5 is more flat. i'v got the 6 sometimes i think it's too big anddoesnt really look right but it's all just a personel opinion really

Keep the mid-level. Much more understated and a little more classy in my opinion. The chap who bought my STi 6 from new actually had the high level one replaced with a mid-level.

I could not agree more. 4 door saloons with big STi 5/6 spoilers just look a tad od, the sti 4 mid-level one, like I have is just right.
But this spoiler on a two door coupe is also od, they need a big rear wing.

personally I prefer the V4 spoiler, but I think if you have a P1 splitter fitted the car really needs the bigger V5 / 6 spoiler to balance it out

Sti 6 if you ask me
But then i would say that, lol.
With how low the P1 splitter brings the front of the car down, i think a V5 or 6 spoiler is needed to balance it out. a V6 splitter looks ok with a V4 spoiler, but the P1 splitter needs something a little more substantial.

go for the larger 1 as it somehow makes it seem to sit closer to the floor,
i think it due to the wing being high and its closer to the roof of the car its an illusion that makes the car seem smaller

I prefer the v4 spoiler but i had thought about a 22B replica. I DO like the shape of the later ones but they are tad on the large side for me.
Does anyone know if the 22B replica is smaller than the v5/6 ? If so, that would be my choice.

Cheers bud, already got the parts though.
Just fitted a nice shiney vortex angled back box with burnt tip.
This is my third scooby 'and' my third vortex!
Just gives the flat four such a nice voice.

allright chris how's it going mate?
personally from reading your title i would have said V6 all day long, but after seeing the blue one in your first post i think that looks bloody perfect
tough call to think if it would look the same in the silver though!
so that's really no help at all there then!

NEVER EVER ******* CLEAN FOR LONGER THAN 5 SECONDS!!! poxy colour
other than that, going fine ta
dropping it off tomorrow? does it all have to be done in one hit? can you not try it with the normal spoiler on then decide?
if you don't like the look there's always room under the chrimbo tree mate,
To Chris,
Happy Christmas, enjoy the spoiler!!

Have already bought the V6 spolier.
I dropped off the following at my local bodyshop nearly 3 months ago! Then my other half lost her job and I couldn't really afford to just throw money at the scoob. Now she back at work so time to play!
V6 spoiler
V5/V6 front bumper
P1 Splitter
Fog light covers
V5/V6 Grille
I'm having the front end resprayed and the skirt colour coded to tidy it up and I thought I may aswell do the whole 'face-lift' thing at the same time.
Just fitted a vortex back-box today! Must stop spending!
