Default my practicle family car lol

Bought this a few months ago as i wanted something that was fun and family friendly.

Was a totally standard UK car with Prodrive package from factory.

Then got it home and just spent a bit of time tidying it up and fitted a facelift bumper

and new back box

then fitted a few performance parts and tidied up the engine bay a bit

Quick spec now is.
HKS 2.2 stroker kit
HKS unequal length manifold (keeps burble)
Prodrive exhaust system (doesnt wake the neighbours)
HKS Induction kit
IHI VF22 turbo
Silicone turbo intake pipe
Front Mount Intercooler
550cc injectors
FSE power boost valve
and a few other wee tweeks

New wheels have now been put and and waiting for my new spoiler to arrive.

What ya think of the new toy then?

Thanks
Jamie

Thats an impressive spec for a practical family car lol!

What sort of power is it running? Any future plans?

dont know the power tbh havent had it on the rollers yet.

Only future plans really are to get it stop lol need some nice brembos behind the alloys then ill be happy

Have carbon fibre sti6 spoiler coming for it and want a carbon fibre P1 splitter.

Not too much styling as i dont think they need much they are nice as they are

Maybe put a blue 2002 sti interior into it and that would be about it done i think

you gotta be on top of your game to get away with doing that to your 'sensible family car'

haha yep, well the wife has a proper sensible Seat Altea lol.

This is my idea of sensible and it works, i take the kids out regularly in it just turn the boost controller to OFF lol and it only runs standard 0.7 bar boost or there abouts and nice and easy to drive slowly.

Though my oldest daughter loves being thrown back in her baby seat haha she is as mental as her dad lol

A decent remap would help you a lot too after all those mods especially the FMIC one.

Nice spec but would go for a better turbo than the VF22 to fully exploit the potential of your engine.

cant really afford a better turbo at the min lol.
The VF22 is a cracking turbo i think and great for driving about the town because you never boost at all.

Then when you want it you have it

Yes the rota's will fit over brembo's no problem at all

Looks good fella

I also have the VF22, they may not be as strong as the TD series turbos but they can certainly do the job as long as you are not holding big boost for long periods

the most boost it sees is 1.2 bar i dont think it needs any more for road use.

Generally runs at 1 bar but then 1.2 for the fun times lol
