Still undecided if i would buy one yet, this is just the basic spec. Higher spec expected later this year with Recaro seat PPP & sat nav.

TBH when I bought my first Impreza in 2002, I didn't buy it because I thought it looked good - it looked sh1te - I bought it because it went like f*ck!
I think this one looks cr@p, but if it goes even quicker than it's predecessors, maybe I might put my hand in my pocket.
After all, we don't care what others think, do we?
Are they doing D Spec?

New RS looks to be front wheel drive only and about 300bhp. Could be interesting!! They do not have a suitable 4wd system available that would compliment the car. They need to do some work with the set up and hopefully include a LSD or it will be pants.

Hmm, you may want to think about that, the reports of 300bhp are looking like they will come together but the 4wd system that was promised is looking like it won't be happening.
Plus you are going to be paying a big wedge for a Ford Focus!
Just save your pennies up and get the new Nissan GT-R

Its going to be an R34 GTR for my next motor I think, both Subaru and Mits have disappointed me with their new 'improved' versions of the Imprexa and Evo.
Then as mentioned above I'll have the new GT-R thank you very much, just need to find that £70k that I dropped down the back of the sofa last week.

Very, very disappointing. I can now see why early teaser photos were in deep shade!
This week's Autocar has the headline "Subaru's Mistake" on the front cover - though it actually refers to the new Justy. Next week they will be publishing a face-off between the STI and the Evo X, so they could be running the same headline again.
Seriously though, if the new STI is found to compare badly to the Evo in terms of handling and performance (since it's already game over as far as styling is concerned), Scooby fans will start deserting the brand in their thousands for the Evo. And if the new WRC car doesn't appear quickly and start winning, then Subaru might as well pack up and go home as far as the UK is concerned.
Why is it that I keep feeling that I could run a car company better than the current Subaru management team? I might send them a cv ........

I like the new STi.
There I've said it.
And I don't care.
This however looks like a Volvo http://www.caradvice.com.au/wp-conte...xrealfront.jpg

The EvoX doesn't look that great when viewed from the front either, the side view above is flattering.
General feeling of disappointment from both sides, both SN and MLR
If any of the other WRC entrants released a road going 300HP 4wd car, they could coin it in, in this current climate.

That looks awesome.... they've got it right big style on the design... unlike Subaru... I'm sure the production Evo X won't be that low though will it? The new scooby was growing on me until I saw these pics with those wheels.... needs much bigger wheels I reckon, even if it is just for aesthetics!
