Default Steering Wheels

Would you folks be kind enough to show me your non-standard steering wheels please?

I RA has got the standard STi 6 Momo 4 spoke steering wheel however I find it:

1. Too big (350mm size?)
2. Too thin

I have big hands (result of lifting weights at the gym for nearly 9 years) and as such find I can't grip the steering wheel properly as resulting in tired hands if that makes sense.

I came across a steering wheel ages ago that I really like but have not been able to find it since. On my RX7 I had a Nardi GT steering wheel which looked great, at 320mm size was almost right (300mm would probably be better for me) and was quite thick around the diameter so you get a really comfy grip on the steering wheel.

Would be good to see what folks are using so I can get some ideas what to go for.

Cheers,

Fz

Scooby-tc, my new interior is arriving soon and I want a three spoke sti wheel to match, so I've a couple of questions if I may;

did you retain the airbag, if so was it a pita to fit?

how much did the new age wheel cost?

thanks in advance

Actually they are quite nice, I liked the one I had on my 05 STi, not as skinny as the classic steering wheel... may have to go down this route with a spec c steering wheel

I think any smaller on an impreza than 350mm is an overkill.....especially as i have the quick rack steering.

I opted for a Omp wrc 350mm wheel..........

Only problem is have lost the auto cancel on the indicators .....

You would be amazed how heavy the oe airbag wheel is compared to the wrc wheel....

Yes i did retain the airbag and it was very straightforward to fit as long as you have the wiring ring/loom that comes with the wheel. It was just a case of cutting the old plug off the airbag and soldering the new plug in its place

Can't remember now i bought it off someone on here for about £150 but that was 2 or so years ago. These wheels are identical to the later Spec C ones its just the colour of the centre that differs
