Cool

These what u looking 4

What a fantastic turn out we had on Sunday. Not even the weather put you lot off. In total we had 50 ! yes FIFTY!!!!! Impreza’s, 1 x Skyline GTR, 1 x EVO 6, 1 x 16v Clio, 1 x Astra and a crazy Cossie 205 pug.

We also had sweet cars from TSL and Scoobiemania showing what you could spend your hard earned cash on.

The Coventry guys all met at the Chinese on the A5 at around 1pm. As I drove into the car park there were already 10 cars parked up. At 1.30pm we made a move to set off in convoy towards Leicester, as we were leaving the Chinese the Northants guys joined us making a 25 car convoy. My best memory of the convoy was seeing the facial expression of the driver in a Sport Wagon oblivious of the meet whom couldn’t believe what he was seeing travelling in the opposite direction. A real Kodak moment!

Here are the pix you have been waiting for…..

Hope this works as I am using a new uploader

Special Thanks to.

Darren and his wife for feeding us all after the meet, great spoilings guys.

Everybody who attended for making it such a great meet.

Q.

How about running this meet every quarter e.g. winter, spring, summer and autumn ?????

Anybody interested ???

Cheers

Neal

Wow - wot a turnout that was !!!

Haven't seen quite so many of the buggers in ages.

Nice to see a skyline - I'll have one at some point.

That bloody P1 has a massive exhaust - the driver must be a real pratt

Poop, looks like I missed a good 'un

Oh well, that's what happens when you can't control AWD in the wet

Should hopefully be back on the road for the next one (if it ever gets repaired )

What exhaust is that on the P1 with the 18" Gold OZ's? Looks like the HKS Hiper to me.

Also has the owner (or anyone else with the gold Oz's on their P1) got any better piccies as I was dead set on anthracite, but after seeing that pic Im not so sure.

Yeah, but if I could have controlled it, I wouldn't have ultimately hit the barrier

Me and the missus talked about setting up a business to pre-scrub tyres.....why don't manufacturers do it?????

Hi P1Fanatic

the P1 with the dustbin size exhaust is mine

Yeah - I didn't really like the look of the dark grey 18s either - didn't like the standard P1 wheels at all and they were the first thing to change.

I'll try fish out some more photographs for you.

regards

Ian.

DAMN...I wish we could get a meet together that was that big here.
Even in Utah where 1/4 cars is a Subaru (mostly Outback Wagons ) we could only get 13 or so together. There is not the exposure of Subaru as a performance car here that there is and has been in the UK, your all lucky.
