Default Leather or not ??

I have started putting a black leather into my STI and was curious if I'm doing the right thing ?? I miss the idea of the STI badge next to the headrest so I have stuck a badge on that I have lying a round untill I can get some proper emroidered lettering on the seat. Which looks better though the blue STI trim or the black leather???? I also have all the leather door cards to go with the leather trim.

I prefer leather and I wouldnt be worried about losing the motifs. Id certainly keep the old seats and door cards in the loft though...

My vote is for leather too. Not had the problem with it being too hot/cold, but may be due to the colour. The wife's Galaxy has black leather and that can get a little hot, though it cools down quickly enough.

Much nicer!

Got them in my STI Limited......much more classy than the standard seats (and the missus likes 'em, so helped to buy the car!).

Definetly leathers! I was after a set of these but were too expensive, so had to settle for STi seats instead

Leather looks spot on when complete. Have it in my STI Spec D and looks a lot more classy than the standard trim IMHO.

Where did you get the leather from and, if you don't mind my asking, how much was it for a front seat?

I don't like the logo but will look good when you get the embroidery done (may even copy you on that one)

I've always thought the STI trim was nice but only really suited a blue car (i've never been a fan of blue carpets in particular). I think the leather looks tons better.

Good job I'm adding an extra 100bhp'ish more on the car in the next couple of months So I doubt the extra weight will bother me

Down to your own preference i guess. I had leather in my 04 wrx sl, and before i got my current STi, i looked at the spec d, but for me it was too similar to the sl inside, and i personally really like the sti blue seats. I find them more comfortable and less slidey, but saying that leather does give an air of class in side the car.

Even if I never added the leather interior the blue trim would of went as I prefer the black STI RA trim from the newer cars

I reckon keep em standard. Just how I see it.

Are you wanting a change in colour or just leather? coz there are companies out there that will re-trim your seats in the oiginal colours/logos in leather. I looked at this for my last scoob was about £700 though.
