Old STI, some in between and now a JDM STI
Type Uk STI
Evo
Trophy
My Abbey built GTR - 475 BHP At the hubs.
My new JDM Twin Scroll STI
There are other performance cars previous to the 03 STI (cossies, RS's, GT4's etc)
Shes a 2003 JDM STI, totally standard with 29k. The paint work is perfect without any scratchs or dents etc. Its Mint all over.
Will update the thread with the mods as and when they happen. So far some flaps a V-LTD Splitter and H&S full exhaust system is on order.

All nice cars, particularly the Skyline and the 6!
Personally, I would have stuck with a skyline over an sti.
But still, the Sti's still a cracking car.

The skyline was a very very fast car. Sadly a frosty night in the highlands combined with a torque controler that sent 100% of the power to the rear caused a light front impact.
Repair costs...
Bonnet £1300
Headlights £600 each!
Front bumper, brackets, bracing, splitter over £1100
Both wings (bent as headlamps pushed them out) £550
Intercooler £2250
There are other bits that required replacment and cost ££££ just like the above, parts like Indicators, air con radiator, cooling pannel etc.
The insurance priced the complete job at over £13k to repair.!!!!
If you buy one and have even a light impact i.e mine was 35mph your car WILL be written off. Its called Sklyine TAX!! Everything costs x 10 off a scooby, evo etc.
It was such a shame,
None the less i'm happy i had one even if it did end in tears.... but big smiles on the insurance payout as it bought the JDM car and i still have the salvage, i'm in the process of breaking it, engine is gone as are most performance parts.. I'll try not to blow the money on the scooby but temptation is hard.!

My Twin scroll downpipe all heat wrapped. Ignore the cable tie that was only tempory until i got to the garage where stainless ties were fitted.
The downpipe, centre and rear angled backbox have now been fitted to the car.

I will never own another NA car...
I personally find the impreza a very easy car to live with.
The insurance is the cheapest out of the evo, cossie, skyline group.
It drank the least amount of fuel.
Its performance is fantastic.
Its a very simple engine to work on.
It looks very good.
The list goes on an on.
I'm delighted i have another and it will stay with me for a few years to come.

Seriously though... your better off in your scoob. The only thing they do better and its only slightly, is handle.! the down side is seriously crap fuel economy and AYC service is just another unwelcomed expense.
My skyline, and i'm not joking here was better on fuel than the Evo and it had 200bhp more.!!!

Its a twin scroll DP which i got in a Group Buy from H&S. Its no use to you unless you run a twin scroll turbo.. but i'm sure you'll be aware of that awyway.
