Default My new rear spoiler...or maybe not. What do you think..?

Toying with the idea of a small rear lip spoiler on my car, what do you reckon..?

Due to the shape of the boot lid, I couldn't have the spoiler the full width, so had to chop it short...

I too agree. I think it need to be the whole lip not just 2/3 of it.

As said above need, looks cak in everything except the last pic, where it looks cool.

I can see why you want to add something but i personally think the car looks perfect as it is and really doesnt need it. The only thing id change would be the wheels, but thats just my opinion. Other than that, i think its about as good as any impreza can look.

Tough job to pull off the wingless look here in the UK mate, but youve done it so well, id leave well alone

Cheers guys..

The spoiler is actually a BMW one, but trimmed down as it looked reeeeaaally bad when full width, and going 'up' on either side....

I wanted a carbon one, but thought I'd see how a frp one looks first...

Not sure on this one... have to agree with most that from some angles it doesn't look to bad, but pic 2 just looks wierd imo. That aside, your car looks sweet

I was looking at the pics for ages then it hit me....... ......it reminds me of a really fat person wearing a g-string.......i'm NOT speaking from personal experience

The last pic doesn't look too bad.

Cheers for all the comments chaps...

It would seem that popular opinion is to leave it without...

Now, I have to decide whether or not I am a 'go with the flow' sort of chap..

i'd go without, just looks like an afterthought to me

why not get another lid and try and fashion a duckbill/nascar looking lip that is moulded in????

well if you are not going to fit a whaletail

might i suggest you mod the lip a bit so the parts you cut at the ends, are the same angle as the bootlid ?

so they slide down at the ends at the same angle the bootlid slides back up
