Default A Few From Trax 08

Here's a few from the SIDC Stand at Trax today

It was not a bad day weather wise in fairness just a mid-morning shower which gave us time to prep the cars for the S&S then it turn dry for the judging.

Gobstopper in attendance

Had time to really have a good look at it today, it's one hell of a build

Now let's see......

Oh yes result time

3rd in class for Best Classic Modified for me

Ollie Clark was there to present the trophy's as Roger Clark Motorsport sponsered a few of them today.... a pleasure to meet Ollie I must say

And Kev had 1st in the same class

Well the Gobstopper.... we had to

I did say this thread was pure self indulgence didn't I

And finally

As you can tell we are happy

A massive thank you to SIDC for today and to all the hard work they have put into all the shows this year, it's not been easy with the weather but a great year we have had.

What a pair of tarts

Great results guys, both cars looks stunning.

The gobstopper is a truely inspirational car, the level of detail and build is absolutely stunning. Cars like these give us mere mortals a goal with our own builds.

Well done guys, looks like you made the best of a very dull looking day

Cheers guys

Yes very pleased with the results now it makes all the work worth while

Frayz you right that car is an inspiration and it's only when your close up and can put you head under the bonnet and inside the cabin you realise what that level is and to maintain that with all the work the car does is quite something.

Yep thanks guys i'm all cleaned out dont want to see another washing bucket for a few days
I think its safe to say we were both very pleased with the results after a difficult day. A lot of credit must go to all the entries who have raised the bar this year no end
We are hoping to drag a few more along next year when the rebuilds and bodywork have been finished
