Default My classic - some progress

Some of you may remember that I bought a completely unmolested MY00 UK classic Turbo 2000 about 6 months ago - pics are still in View my Scooby, but it looked like this :

Well now it looks like this:

Modifications so far:

AGX adjustable shocks
H&R lowering springs
Inovit Redline wheels in gunmetal with Michelin Pilot tyres
Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust
STI7 seats
Clear front/side indicators
Colour coded skirts/spats/rear wheel arch forward trims
Repainted bumpers
STI V6 lip spoiler
Updated Walbro fuel pump
Special rear window sticker (someone on here knows what that means )

Next up are K-Sport brakes and STI rear lights.

The its time to give her some more power.

Hope you like the pics. Thanks for looking.

Grade A Subaru in Hayfield, High Peak. 01663 744114

They are like new, give them a call as they are always breaking cars, I found them to be very helpful.

Here's a pic:

Funny you should say that as I read a lot about it and decided to try it and see how it was. My problem was that the one thing wrong with the car when I bought it was the drivers seat - the actual seat part had given and it was pretty uncomfortable to drive so I had to do something.

I decided on STI7 seats over STI8 as they are a lot more snug and to my mind better, or better for me I should say.

The seats are great, but yes they are fractionally too high so..... one set of HKS lowering rails on the way from Japan. Did think of cutting and welding etc. but decided to buy the HKS instread - don't fancy my welds giving way in an accident. So will report back when the seat is sitting down a bit more.

17s - had a long debate with myself over 18s and did a lot of reading, but plumped for 17s in the end as I didn't want to compromise the ride too much - each to their own though.

Cheers

STI rears in the garage in their boxes, just waiting for the red LED lamp for the foglight to arrive and they will be on the car.

Cheers, yes I wanted to do it tastefully and so far so good. As I said each to their own, but Lexus lights and uber large body kits etc. aren't my thing.

Looks stunning mate, all you need to do now to make it perfect is ditch the rear spoiler and put a 3 series lip on it like i did..... that'll give people plenty to talk about..... mines mica blue.... i always thought there was only one colour to have, the blue, but the mica red is an aweso
me colour......!!

i dont mind the seats being a bit higher, im only 5,8 so plenty of head room lol. those wheels are deceptive! i thought they were 18's! look alot bigger than mine! though the lip is pretty thick on the speedlines i have.....
