Here's mine, not quite finished yet though...

Spec is...

Bodywork

The car was stripped to a bare shell, all sound deadening was removed, the wiring was simplified and the side impact bars were removed. The rear door lock and window mechanisms were removed to save even more weight. An FIA approved 6 point roll cage was fitted and the car was painted Kawasaki Green and has been undersealed underneath. The boot floor has been removed and a huge rear diffuser has been installed for downforce. The battery is now in the boot for better weight distribution. A large carbon adjustable GT wing has been fitted on extended struts. The front bumper has been replaced for a fibreglass 22b replica and a large front splitter has been fitted to work with the rear diffuser. Canards have been fitted at the corners of the bumper to further aid downforce. A reverse bonnet scoop has been fitted for less drag and the car has the factory fitted roof vent.

Interior

All uncessary weight has been removed, and the interior has been sprayed to match the exterior. A rear firewall has been installed to meet regulations. The front seats have been replaced with Cobra Monaco FIA approved items and Sparco harnesses. The passenger seat has been mounted to the floor to help lower the centre of gravity. The heater controls have been removed in favour boost, oil press and oil temp guages. There is a carbon start panel instead of the centre console and all the door cards have been replaced by carbon items. There is a suede momo steering wheel and the DCCD control has been relocated to the dash.

Transmission

The standard five speed box has been replaced by a 6 speed new age DCCD box with an R180 rear diff. All driveshafts have been swapped with uprated items. It has an STI carbon front strut brace and rear strut brace. The suspension has been swapped for cusco coilovers with adjustable top mounts. There's also whiteline adjustable camber arms, tie bars and ARB's. All bushes have been swapped for Polybushes. The bottom arms have been swapped for new age items to give a slighly wider track, along with new age hubs.. A Cusco twin plate clutch rated to over 600bhp has also been installed. A new age power steering rack, pipework and PAS pump has also been installed.

Brakes

Front brakes will be needed, but the rears have been replaced wih new age Brembo items and new big disks. All lines have been replace with steel lines. A brake master cylinder stopper has been fitted.

Wheels and Tyres

Brand new 18" Innovit Tarmac lightweight alloys shod with brand new Toyo T1 tyres. They are an excellent combination that offer excellent grip in both dry and wet.

Engine

Still yet to be run in, the engine has been completely rebuilt with Omega WRC flat top pistons, H beam con rods, new V4 STI crank, V4 STI heads, Acl competition bearings, Cometic 1.3mm head gaskets, ARP bolts all in a closed deck STI block. The inlet manifold has been rotated and all uneeded brackets removed. There is custom intercooler pipework to a large frount mounted intercooler. custome SS headers relocate the GT35 turbo to the front bumper for a short pipe run and extra response. The turbo sucks through a custom K & N big air filter. The turbo is controlled by a tial wastegate and custom screamer pipe. A Tial blow off valve is mounted on the intercooler pipework. A Greddy oil cooler is located behind the front grill. the car has a custom radiator setup, PAS tank and oil catch tank. The exhaust is now only a short pipe that exits the front bumper to save weight. A parallel fuel system has been installed with an Aeromotive FPR and fuel filter, splitting into SS lines on custom fuel rails. The injectors are 740cc items. The tank is fitted with an uprated Walbro item, but i was going to fit a race cell and external pump. the engine is controlled by a Bourne Possum Link ECU with hand controller in the car. it also comes with mapping softare. The engine also has uprated oil and water pumps, and a baffled sump to stop oil starvation under hard cornering.
