Make sure you get the right offset though. 52 IIRC. There are a few sets of 48s doing the rounds.

The ST2s supplied by Prodrive had an offset of 52 (could be 53 - too cold to go and check!) and inserts in the stud holes to allow the oe wheel nuts to be used.
48s fit but stick out a bit more and change the steering feel. I seem to remember that Pete Croney preferred the feel of the 48s but I was never sure whether that was just down to the fact that the only wheels he supplied were 48s. Offsets of >48 are hard to find in aftermarket wheels.

Either way they really do suit the Classic shape better than any other wheel I've seen.

Thanks for that explanation. I presumed the wider would be better, oh well.

I only bought the wheels around 3 months ago, brand new. I was so lucky, I searched the net and rang every company under the sun with no joy. Then found a company in Manchester who had a set in one of their store rooms from years ago, they'd been forgotten and were no longer on their systems. They sold em at half price to get rid of em....... ......I'll have them I thought.
Old school wheels rule.

Sorry for hijacking the thread a little.

Great choice of wheels 'JohnnyR6' they're the same as 'ronin_hungary' he has the 18" version in silver.
